Shipping Policy

At Yumpass, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We aim to make every order right, but in case something goes wrong, our Refund & Cancellation Policy ensures a fair and transparent process for our users.


1. Order Cancellation

a. By Customer

  • Before Processing:
    You may cancel your order before the vendor starts preparing or dispatching it. In such cases, a full refund will be initiated.

  • After Processing Begins:
    Once the order is being prepared or is out for delivery, cancellation may not be possible or may incur a partial charge, depending on the vendor and type of product.

  • Non-Cancellable Orders:
    Some categories like medicines, perishables (fruits, vegetables, meat, fish), and restaurant food cannot be cancelled once processed, for health and safety reasons.

b. By Vendor or Yumpass

  • Orders may be cancelled due to:

    • Item unavailability

    • Incorrect pricing

    • Vendor capacity or location issues

    • Technical or payment failures

In such cases, the full amount will be refunded to your original payment method.


2. Refund Policy

a. Eligible Refund Scenarios

You are eligible for a full or partial refund in the following situations:

  • Order was not delivered

  • Items were missing from the order

  • Wrong items were delivered

  • Perishable items were spoiled/damaged

  • Payment was deducted but order failed

b. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds are not applicable in these cases:

  • Order was cancelled after preparation/shipping

  • Customer provided incorrect address or was unreachable

  • Minor delays in delivery due to traffic/weather

  • Customer changed mind after placing the order


3. Refund Process

  • Refunds are initiated within 24–48 hours after approval.

  • Depending on your payment method, the amount will reflect in your account within:

    • UPI/Wallets: 1–3 working days

    • Credit/Debit Card: 5–7 working days

    • Net Banking: 5–10 working days

We will notify you via SMS/email once the refund has been initiated.


4. How to Request a Refund

You can request a refund by:

  • Using the “Help” or “Support” section in the Yumpass app

  • Emailing us at support@yumpass.in with order details and reason

Our support team will review your request and respond within 24 hours.


5. Fraudulent or Abusive Claims

Yumpass reserves the right to withhold refunds for users showing patterns of:

  • Repeated refund claims

  • Misuse of services

  • Providing false complaints or fake images

Such accounts may also be suspended or blocked without notice.
