At Yumpass, we understand that sometimes plans change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the rules for cancelling orders and services placed through our platform.


1. General Cancellation Guidelines

  • You may cancel your order before the vendor starts preparing or processing it.

  • Once the item is being prepared, packed, or out for delivery, cancellations may not be possible or may incur a cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations must be made through the Yumpass app under the “My Orders” or “Support” section.


2. Service-Specific Cancellation Rules

a. Restaurant Orders

  • Can be cancelled within 2 minutes of placing the order.

  • After food preparation begins, cancellation is not allowed.

  • No refund for cancellations after this point.

b. Grocery, Fruits, Vegetables, Fish & Meat

  • Can be cancelled before order is packed or dispatched.

  • Perishable items are non-cancellable once packed or out for delivery.

c. Medicines

  • Orders once confirmed may only be cancelled in case of:

    • Item unavailability

    • Invalid prescription

  • Otherwise, cancellations are not permitted due to safety and legal regulations.

d. Parcel Delivery (Shopass)

  • Can be cancelled before pickup is assigned.

  • Once a pickup agent is on the way or parcel is collected, cancellation is not allowed.

e. Rental Services

  • Cancellation allowed 24 hours before the scheduled time.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee (vendor-specific).


3. Vendor-Initiated Cancellations

An order may be cancelled by the vendor or Yumpass due to:

  • Item unavailability

  • Incorrect or incomplete address

  • Delivery not serviceable in your area

  • Technical/payment issues

In such cases, the full amount will be refunded.


4. Cancellation Fees

In some cases, a small cancellation fee may be deducted:

  • To compensate vendors for lost inventory/time

  • If the order was already processed

Details of any fee will be shown during the cancellation process in the app.


5. How to Cancel

You can cancel an order by:

  • Visiting My Orders in the Yumpass app

  • Clicking on the order and selecting “Cancel Order”

  • Or by contacting our support team at support@yumpass.in


6. Refund Timeline

If your cancellation is approved:

  • Refunds will be initiated within 24–48 hours

  • Amount will reflect based on your payment method:

    • UPI/Wallet: 1–3 working days

    • Credit/Debit Card: 5–7 working days

    • Net Banking: 5–10 working days
